Flat tyre ?
If a spare wheel is provided, Customers are expected to change the wheel using the tools in the vehicle. Assistance can be provided by calling our 24/7 Assistance helpline but please be advised that in some cases the “call out” may be chargeable. (If chargeable, you will be advised in advance and given the options available to you).
Some vehicles come fitted with a tyre inflator kit. Athol would prefer that you don’t use the inflator kits, but call Athol Assist to arrange for the vehicle to be relayed back to the Dealership or for a suitable replacement spare wheel to be sent out to you. Our response time is normally within 40 minutes from anywhere on the Island.

You should notify the Car Hire Office who will arrange, if necessary, for auto assistance, vehicle recovery and/or a replacement vehicle to be sent out to you immediately depending upon the situation, allowing you to continue your journey without further disruption.
We want you to have full confidence the vehicle you are hiring. If for any reason the vehicle does not meet this expectation, we request that you make contact with our office to let us know. Athol will want to remove any uncertainty by exchanging the vehicle at the earliest opportunity and with as little inconvenience to you by us bringing the replacement vehicle out to you, wherever on the Island that may be.
